UKBC - Get involved!

The UK Barista Championships are underway but there is still time to get involved if you think you’ve got what it takes to take the title from James. Ed Buston from Clifton Coffee Company took the top spot in the Midlands heats, and will be practicing hard for the semi-final and final at this years Hotelympia in February. Ed came in 3rd place last year, so maybe 2008 is his year – good luck Ed!

We’ll be co-hosting the Bristol heat on the 16th Jan, and are looking forward to a very interesting competition. This heat is now full and has some big players entering. Even if you are not entering this year, it’s worth going along to your nearby heat to find out what the competitions are all about, and maybe get some inspiration for next year – let’s keep the title in the UK!
