With the economy as it is people aren’t going to be flashing their cash on cars, and wide screen TV’s and the things that make life a little flashier. However, due to ‘The Lipstick Effect’ (a term first coined by Chanel during the recession of the late 80’s) consumers will still be buying their ‘little luxuries’, e.g lipsticks. But how does this help you? Because, within this category we will also find lattes, rich hot chocolates and the little things in life that, as Lily Allan tells us make us smile.
We’re offering a super deal on Zuma Hot Chocolates and Chai. With the chocolate you will receive some rather funky Zuma mugs (or a case of syrups), and a chocolate menu card full of great combinations to offer your customers, simply by adding a shot of syrup. Want more? Go on then…..have some marshmallows….who said everything was doom and gloom?
Chai Time
Chai’s a funny old thing. In the same vein as marmite. Even some people in the office aren’t that keen, we’re not going to lie! But, most people do love it. Conversations usually go along the lines of….
‘Try some Chai?’
‘Hmm, no thanks, I don’t know if I will like it’
‘Go on, go on, go on….’
‘Ok…..sip slurp…wow, that’s really good!’
Want to put this into practise? We know that if your business is all about people on the go they are not going to want to swap their regular latte for the unknown. So, how’s about while you’re steaming their milk, have some 4oz cups of chai prepared for them to try while they wait. Not only a great way to have a chat with your customers, but also introducing them to a whole new drink, which they may or may not thank you for (see marmite reference above…). We’ve got some lovely strut cards to help too, make a day of it in store…
