It’s been as busy as ever here at Beyond the Bean since we last wrote to you; we’ve been developing new products (including a new organic tea range – find out more in this news letter), new point of sale material, launching 2 new cookie flavours and getting ready for this year’s Caffe Culture. Phew…. All this, plus a lovely new Summer Drinks mini-brochure to help you update your summer drinks menu, without increasing your costs. Those of you who subscribe to US café bar magazines like Barista, Roast and Fresh Cup may have noticed that Sweetbird has made frequent appearances over the last 8 months or so. At Coffee Fest, Seattle last year, we introduced the little bird to the US market and he has taken flight! ‘Give ‘em the Bird’ became the unofficial catchphrase in the US, emblazoned on t-shirts and show back-drops.
