We are looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join the Beyond the Bean marketing team at our HQ in Bristol. Reporting to our Head of Marketing & Brand this is a demanding full time role requiring you to manage your own workload, think on your feet and turn your hand to new challenges as they arise.
Your passion for all things digital will be partnered with a love of event management. We know it’s a strange mix, but we know the right person is out there. During the course of a day you could be creating content for all our social media platforms, liaising with exhibition organisers, writing press releases or coming up with creative ways to promote our fantastic and delicious products. You could also be packing up stock for one of our many tradeshows in the warehouse – it’s not always glamorous! Team Bean is not just about the right products, it’s about the right people, whilst this role is demanding, it is also yours to make your own with plenty of scope for being creative and building on the success of our existing Marcomms Manager who is off to pastures new. This is a great opportunity for the right person, maybe you are a senior marketing executive looking for a challenge and a step up, or maybe you work for an agency and would like to enjoy the benefit of going client side?
Working in an independently owned company has plenty of upsides of course. The industry we work in is a fantastic one, full of passionate people who love what they do. It’s not that we don’t rate jobs in insurance or banking, we would just much rather do this. Oh, did we mention all the free smoothies, frappes and espresso?

- Minimum two years’ experience within a marketing role
- Good IT competencies, competent in MS Office, MailChimp, WordPress and Adobe CC
- Able to create content from scratch
- Excellent social media skills across all platforms
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Well organised and self-motivated
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience of working with the full marketing communications mix.
- Enthusiasm, drive and initiative.
- Non-aversion to classic rock…
- Ideally you will have an interest in coffee, failing that, an interested in food and drink marketing.
Based in our office in Bristol, BS3 2HA. Salary up to £25k depending on experience.
